For most of us, the meaning of jewelry is to load up the history, enthusiasm and the record of life. For thousands of years, jewellery has narrated a lot of stories and women are always eager to possess pearls and jewels.

As for me, what do I think of jewellery? I have never thought of buying some jewellery to myself specially. This idea is too strange for me. In my opinion, a piece of jewelry is a gift and I don’t want to go into a shop just to buy myself a present. In addition, I don’t stay in front of the showcase of the jewelry shop unless my friends ask me to go with them. Actually, I don’t know much about jewels, I don’t like to read the magazine which is about this topic. But I love jewels, and I love the surprise they bring to me. I don’t have too much jewelry, and all of my pearls and jewels are given by my relatives. My first piece of jewelry is given by my mother. It is a silver necklace. I gained it when I was one year’s old and I’m still wearing it now.

I put all my rings, necklaces in a jewellery box. For me this box has the most beautiful things. Every piece of jewelry may remind me of one person. The colorful heart-shaped gemstone necklace was given by my sister on my birthday. And the old silver ring was passed from my grandmother on to me. I have been thinking the stories of the ring and the permanence of it makes me feel very happy. Of course I am also interested in the works of the jewellery designers. Those works seem to come from a great and nice place in order to give us happiness.

What the pearls and jewels represents are mixed feelings and the symbol of the sense of belonging. Jewelry contains our happiness and sadness when it is recoding our life.
